catching up!
I, Amy Alfaro, raise my right hand and state that I will do my up most to keep this blog more current! (notice I didn't say promise... but I will definitely try my best to do a better job:-)
so here we go... a real update on Memories in Uniform. I haven't shared too much since CHA Summer, other than there were some interesting and exciting things afoot. I am happy to report that we are moving forward with the interesting and exciting things.. I know, I know, a huge tease there, but suffice it to say that:
- we are expanding our horizons on where you can find our product
- we have brought on a regular creative team member who will be sharing some great projects with you soon!
- In the not too distant future we will be upgrading our wholesale ordering system (BIG TIME!) which will cut out ordering mistakes etc. almost completely!!
- The new Iraq/Afghanistan rub on transfers are now ready to ship... an email to the retailers will be going out this week:-)
- Last, but not least... we ALMOST have our final approved sample for the GI Jacket albums. The most exciting part though is that we have decided that GI Jacket albums are not only going to be marketed as a military product, but also to many, many other markets including scouts, sports teams, collegiate, and more, so... we've created the new name 'Life Jacket' for our memory album collection:-) YAY!! Seriously, I know, I know, you guys have been waiting FOREVER to get these on the shelves... we are just as impatient as you are, trust me!! Good things are worth the wait though, right?, and these are definitely worth the wait!! As soon as the final sample is approved I will have a target ship date and I promise to keep you posted when that comes.
so, there's all the MIU stuff... some super exciting things are coming, I almost bust when I think about how much I know you're going to love what's in store:-) Just when you thought we couldn't get any cooler...we're already working on CHA Winter stuff (I should say jamming!)
Family stuff is, well, not nearly as exciting, but we're holding our own. Tom's still working the Air Guard package through the chain of command so he can start drilling closer to home, kids are loving school, the house is seeing improvements every weekend (please, someone shoot me if I ever say I want to move again!), and the felines are continuing to enjoy the last few days of summer. It's almost apple butter time again so I'm sure I'll have some pics to share soon... I'm hoping this year that I will have better success with my camera than I did last year:)
stay tuned my friends! Thanks for stopping by, don't be a stranger:-) oh, and btw, I won't be logging in on Thursdays... it's time for Grey's again!! woohoo!!
