updates (not an April Fools joke;)

considering that I almost forgot my log in id and password for this blog I guess you could say it has been a while since I updated:P I promise that I "write" blog entries in my head almost daily, but alas they have not made it from my brain to my fingers. I think this mental block has largely been stress induced... and that takes a lot for me to admit that publicly. The past two years have been a big trial in my life (bear with me for a moment)...
moving from VA to IN to be near family was/has been awesome, however the move itself was chaotic, being separated from Tom for 7 months while he went to intel school, again being separated from Tom on an ongoing basis while he worked 3 hours away during the week, and then most recently having Tom be unemployed for the past 6 months has brought me to my knees. God has been so incredibly faithful, showing us time and time again just how only He can take care of us... but yet I doubted, I stressed, and I wrestled with the overwhelming urge to run out the door and not look back (not really a viable option, but you know, the thought did cross my mind a couple of times;) The instability that I have felt for the past two years has greatly affected my ability to connect with friends, my sweet husband, my children, my business, my creativity, my life... times that I know now God was teaching me so many lessons... and we're not done yet.
So, we're not done yet (seriously??!!)? Well not at least for now, and maybe for a while to come, for now another chapter and another adventure awaits. Tom has been offered a job in the Washington DC area. We are moving back to Virginia. Just when we thought we had changed the license plates on our cars for the last time here we are going almost full circle to where we left off two years ago. As bittersweet as it is I have to believe that certain doors here were closed and this one has opened- just what we had prayed for. The details of how all of this will be executed haven't been ironed out yet but Tom will be reporting in VA on the 21st. We will be putting the house on the market soon... details, details:)
There it is in a nutshell. more soon:-)

no words can describe this...
